Your GCSE Product Design Controlled Assessment should be completed as a PowerPoint file. Each of the tasks should be presented on one slide only (unless otherwise stated), the slides should each have a heading and use font size no larger than 12.

You will be marked on the skills you can demonstrate during the design process. This includes investigating (8 marks), developing (32 marks), making (32 marks) and reflecting (12 marks). There are also marks awarded for your standard of communication (6 marks) (e.g. spelling, punctuation, grammar, presentation and how concise you can be).

The aim of this website is to break down each section to give your pointers and get you to think about questions that will allow you to progress through the assessment with ease. All you need to do is click on the section you are working on and it will offer you tasks, examples and guidance.

If you have any suggestions or questions please speak with me, use the e-mail address below or the contact form on this website.
