Specification

It is here where you will commit to specific things for you design - this is your design 'musts'. To help you complete this section you can use the ACCESSFMM tool.

Aesthetics - What colours must your product include?
Consumer - Who will you product appeal to?
Cost - How much will your product cost to produce?
Environment - Where will your product be suitable to be used?
Size - How big will your product be? Will it be suitable?
Safety - How will you make your product safe?
Function - What will the function of your product be?
Materials - What materials will you use to create your product?
Manufacturing - What manufacturing process would you product use if it were to go into production?

It is important that this reflects what your research shows and what your target user wants.

You should set this out as a table with two columns. One  column should have "Essentials", these are features that your product cannot be succussful without. The second column should be "Desireables", these are features that you or your client would like to include in your designs but it could still be considered a successful product without them.
